Before:

Here's a chair with loads of potential.  Once stripped some quite severe frame problems were revealed, the arms weren't fixed to anything, and the whole thing was wobbly and in danger of falling apart.  I fixed it all up and secured it for years to come.

After:

I dont think it knew what had hit it when the new fabric arrived, chosen by it's owner, Alison.  It was a great transformation and looks fantastic in Alison's kids room.

Before:

Ivy loved this Gplan chair from the moment I brought it in to the house.  I think it was something to do with the years of dust and dirt ingrained in it. She loves that kind of thing.

She's not that bothered about it now it's clean and recovered in this striking fabric.

Before:

Victorian nursing chair in need of some serious TLC

After:

Restored to it's original and beautiful state with new caning by Sally Broadway in Bathford.  I cleaned and polished the gorgeous mahogany and restuffed the seat, washing and reusing the original horsehair, then covering it with a stunning Jim Dickens fabric.

Before:

This beautiful Victorian chaise longue had completely collapsed inside.  I stripped it back to it's frame and rebuilt it.
